Cooking directions

Bring a traditional BBQ flavour straight to your kitchen with these ribs. Start with a dry rub and finish with our Carolina BBQ sauce and you will be amazed at how these ribs just fall off the bone!

  1. Preheat oven or air fryer to 300°F. Remove thin membrane on the back of ribs by loosening with the tip of a sharp knife and pulling it off. Discard.

  2. In a medium sized bowl combine all dry spices and mix well. Rub spice mix on both sides of ribs until evenly covered.

  3. Wrap ribs in aluminum foil. Then wrap again in a second layer making sure there are no rips or leaks, if space is limited you may cut ribs into 2 halves and double wrap each half.

  4. Place ribs in oven on a foil lined sheet pan and bake for 21/2-3 hours, until tender. If using air fryer, line basket with aluminum foil before placing ribs.

  5. Remove aluminum foil and using a brush apply ½ cup of bbq sauce evenly over meat side of ribs. Set oven to broil or air fryer to 450°F.

  6. Cook ribs for 5-8 minutes, until sauce thickens a bit and begins to char in some spots. Apply another ¼ cup of BBQ sauce and cook for 3-4 minutes.

  7. Remove from oven/air fryer and allow to rest for 5-6 minutes. Cut into individual ribs and serve with some of the sauce.
