Cooking directions

  1. Remove thin membrane on back of ribs by loosening with the tip of a sharp knife and pulling it off. Discard.

  2. In a medium bowl mix together honey, soy sauce, black pepper, brown sugar, granulated garlic, chili powder, ginger and orange juice. Apply marinade to both sides of ribs. Cover and place in the refrigerator. Marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  3. Preheat oven to 300°F. Remove ribs from refrigerator and wrap in aluminum foil. Wrap in a second layer of foil making sure there are no rips or leaks. Place ribs on a foil lined baking sheet and bake for 2 hours.

  4. Remove ribs from aluminum foil packs. Discard foil.  Set oven to Broil.

  5. Using a BBQ or pastry brush apply ½ cup of the BBQ sauce evenly over meat side of ribs. Broil 8 inches from heating element for 6-7 minutes until sauce bubbles and thickens a bit. Apply another ¼ cup of sauce and broil for 3-4 minutes.

  6. Remove ribs from oven and allow to rest for 5-7 minutes. Slice into individual ribs and serve with some extra BBQ sauce on the side.
