Thai Basil Bison Stir Fry

INGREDIENTS
Cornstarch 2 teaspoons
Olive oil 3 teaspoons
Yellow onion, thinly sliced 1 onion
Red bell pepper, thinly sliced 1 pepper
Garlic cloves, minced 4 cloves
Soy sauce 2 tablespoons
White sugar 1 tablespoon
Lime juice 1 lime
Thai Basil, chopped 1 cup
LET'S GET COOKING!
Place the bison stir fry into plastic bag and sprinkle the cornstarch over the bison. Shake to evenly distribute the cornstarch over the bison.
Heat a large skillet to medium high heat. Once hot, add the oil and add in the bison.
Cook for 3-4 minutes or until just browned.
Remove the bison from the skillet and place on a plate, keep the skillet hot.
Add a bit more oil if needed and reduce the heat to medium.
Add in the onion, bell pepper, and garlic for 5 minutes or until the onions are softened and browned.
Add the bison back to the skillet, add in the soy sauce, coconut sugar, lime juice, and basil. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the basil to wilt, and mixing the sauce evenly among the bison and veggies.
Serve the stir fry hot over the top of rice noodles or rice.
