Smoked Turkey Breast

INGREDIENTS
Cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon
Paprika 2 teaspoons
Black pepper, freshly ground 1 tablespoon
Kosher salt 3 tablespoons
Brown sugar 2 tablespoons
Vegetable oil as needed
LET'S GET COOKING!
Mix all of the dry ingredients together to form a rub.
Coat the turkey with some vegetable oil and then rub the entire turkey breast with the rub.
Wrap the now seasoned turkey breast with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 8 – 10 hours.
Preheat a smoker to 250 degrees F.
Once hot, place the turkey breast in the smoker.
Smoke the turkey breast until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
Remove the breast from the smoker and tent the breast with foil. Let the breast rest for 30 minutes before carving.
Slice and serve with your favourite side dishes.
