Pan Seared Chicken Breast

INGREDIENTS
Olive Oil, divided 3 tablespoons
Salted Butter 1 tablespoon
Sea Salt ½ teaspoon
Black Pepper ¼ teaspoon
Thyme ¼ teaspoon
Garlic Powder ¼ teaspoon
Paprika ¼ teaspoon
Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed 1 teaspoon
Fresh Cilantro 1 sprig
LET'S GET COOKING!
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Drizzle olive oil over both sides of the chicken breast. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and thyme.
Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add Butter.
Add the chicken, skin side down. Cook for 5 minutes, without trying to move the chicken.
Turn and place in the oven.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the meat, without touching the bone reads 165°F.
Take out of the oven, let the meat rest for 5 -10 minutes, then slice.
