Ground Beef & Garbanzo Chili

INGREDIENTS
Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
Canned Garbanzo Beans, drained 12 oz.
Canned Kidney Beans, drained 12 oz.
Medium Onion, chopped 1 onion
Green Bell Pepper, diced 1 pepper
Fresh Garlic, minced 4 tablespoons
Jalapeno, thinly sliced 1 jalapeno
Tomato, chopped 1 tomato
Beef Broth 2 cups
Tomato Puree 1 1/3 cup
Coarse Sea Salt 1 tablespoon
Chili Powder 3 teaspoons
Ground Cumin 1 teaspoon
Sea Salt as needed
Black Pepper, freshly ground as needed
LET'S GET COOKING!
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and green pepper and cook, stirring constantly for a few minutes. Add beef and continue to cook, breaking up beef while cooking. Cook for 10-15 minutes or until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add garbanzo and kidney beans, garlic, jalapenos, tomato, beef broth, tomato puree, salt, chili powder, salt and pepper. Cover, lower the heat and continue to cook slowly for 1 hour.
