Chinese Five Spice Chicken with Winter Slaw

INGREDIENTS
Garlic, crushed 2 cloves Chinese Five-Spice Powder ½ teaspoon Sesame Oil 1 tablespoon Cooking Wine 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon White Sugar ½ teaspoon
Winter Slaw
Olive Oil 3 tablespoons Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed 1 tablespoon Small Red Cabbage, finely shredded ½ cabbage Ripe Pear, cored and thinly sliced 1 pear Spring Onions, thinly sliced slant cut 2 onions Roasted Sunflower seeds ¼ cup Chopped Parsley ½ cup Sea Salt as needed
Black Pepper, freshly ground as needed
Lime wedges 4 wedges
LET'S GET COOKING!
Combine all the ingredients except the chicken, in a large bowl. Add the chicken and turn to coat well.
Place the chicken in a shallow baking dish in a single layer. Roast for 30 minutes or until fully cooked, turning several times and adding a splash of water if it starts to catch on the base of the pan.
To make the slaw, whisk the olive oil and lemon juice in a large bowl and season. Add all remaining ingredients and toss together.
Serve with lime wedges and slant cut green onions.
