RECIPE:Chicken Gizzard Yakitori

  • Chicken Gizzards

Chicken gizzards cut into half1 lb.

Water3 cups

Sriracha sauce1 tablespoon

Garlic, minced1 teaspoon

Korean BBQ sauce1 cup

Kocher salt1 teaspoon

Cooking directions

  1. If using bamboo skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes.

  2. In a medium size saucepan, place cut chicken gizzards with water and salt. Bring to boil over a medium heat for at least 40 minutes.

  3. After the elapsed time, poor the water from the saucepan leaving the chicken gizzards. Remove excess water and set aside.

  4. Turn on the oven and bring it to heat to at least 350 degrees F.

  5. Meanwhile, in a separate small saucepan, add BBQ sauce, garlic, and Sriracha sauce. Mix all the ingredients.

  6. Then start threading the chicken gizzards onto the skewers.

  7. Once done, put the chicken gizzard skewers onto a baking paper or cloth. The brush each side with the sauce.

  8. After you’re finished preparing the chicken gizzard skewers, put the skewers inside the oven and cook for at least 6-7 minutes.

  9. Once the chicken gizzard skewers are thoroughly cooked, transfer the skewers to a serving plate.
